Where are they?

I feel like it's Christmas in June. I feel like I keep looking out my front window for Santa with his sack of toys. But, no I'm watching for Mr. Brown and his big box. The box containing the new Stampin' UP catalogs. I keep reading about all the people who have theirs already. I keep reading about the sneak peeks. I keep reading about all the exciting new things. But, it's not the same. It's not the same as having your own copy. In your own hands. It feels like Christmas and I can't wait.

Here are some pictures of cards we made at the last couple of workshops I had. I want the new catalog so I can start coming up with some new ideas. This is why my scrapping has slacked.

Slacker

I know I'm a slacker but I'm going to try to play catch up in this post.

I had my MRI last Friday, now I'm waiting for the results.

We spent Father's Day up in Orlando with the Beast. We went to Blizzard Beach at Disney World. It was such a relaxing day. So much more relaxing than walking all over Disney World in the heat and dealing with the crowds. We got there first thing in the morning. We secured some chairs in the shade and hit the water. Miranda played in the kiddie area for a short time and then we went to check out the rest of the park. The lazy river on the inner tubes was the best. And I can't believe my little dare devil of a daughter went down a huge triple dip of a water slide, on a mat, head first! She loved it and wanted to go again and again. We went to the wave pool and chilled out for awhile. Then, I got Miranda to take a little snooze on a lounge chair in the shade while daddy went shooting down a SUPER slide. They clocked him at 53 MPH! Way to fast for me!!

I haven't completed a layout in MONTHS. My thoughts have been so consumed with Stampin' UP stuff and getting prepared for my monthly workshops. I wanted to make something for David for Father's Day so he could hang it in his locker at work. And that is what I came up with. Only took me an hour and a half to complete..........

I need to get back on track and quit slacking.
