P&P
Yesterday was a P&P sort of day. We've been laying low this week, trying to figure out if Miranda is sick or what's going on. It doesn't want to rear it's ugly head. I guess that's good and all but I'd like definite signs and symptoms so I can treat them accordingly. Hoping you don't get 'bored', we P&P'd yesterday. Well paint and playdoh of course. I don't like to bring out playdoh all that often. In fact I don't think she's played with playdoh but maybe 2 times in 2008. It's the little crumbs that get stuck in the grout that really bother me. No matter how many times you vacuum you still see hot pink playdoh on the floor. And paint, well do I really need to explain further? Somehow she manages to get is all up her arms and yes even in her nose, but again the floor is what really gets me. Thank goodness for washable paint. And yesterday she told me of every little dribble, so I cleaned it up immediately. She did much better then I expected; only 2 little dribbles. It was still all up her arm. But, that really made for a colorful shower. The best part of the day was hearing 'mommy, thank you for letting me be an artist.' And of course seeing the finished product. I guess today will be part 2 for at least the painting as she didn't finish her project yesterday. Here's to another day with the artist.

oh how paint a playdoh do not make huge appearances in my house either.
i love to do it with tanner, but the clean up is such a pain. it takes longer to set up and clean up than it takes to do anything else.
hopefully miranda is feeling better soon!
