schedules & a circle journal
I hate cleaning! I hate cleaning probably because I'm addicted to my scraproom and the computer. I would much rather be in my room or surfing the net. Hence, my house never gets clean. Did I mention, I hate to clean?! I had to come up with a cleaning schedule to make sure I get my chores done. This way, I can't get on the computer or play in my room until my chores are done. I'm kind of punishing myself to make sure I stay on top of things. I'm sick of waiting until the last minute to clean. I get tired of choosing one day and trying to cram aLL the cleaning in one day. It sucks!
So my schedule is: Monday- vacuum/clean floors, grocery shop
Tuesday-dust, clean sills and appliances
Wednesday-laundry
Thursday- vacuum
Friday- bathrooms
This is the schedule. And if I stick to this schedule, I won't be stuck in the house, on the weekend, cleaning while David and Miranda are having fun in the pool. The weekends are now left for family time. As you can see, it's Wed. and the laundry is piled up. But, I also get to cheat and play on the computer while I'm waiting for the laundry to finish!
On a side note, I'm involved in my first circle journal. I can't wait to get started. But, I'm also nervous, because I've never done one before.
I'm off...........the laundry is done. Back to the SCHEDULE.

I had a schedule like this when I was home. I spread my laundry over two days and did bedding on one day and clothes on the other day. It helped lots.
Ugh, bathrooms. Hate those. Want to come do mine? I'll give you scrap supplies :)

I feel the same way ... like your schedule idea. Have you ever heard of flylady? Just google her and you'll find her free site with tonnes of ideas to help with this. Of course it requires actually getting off the computer and out of your scrapbooking room (which is so tough!) And please don't be nervous ... I think you will really enjoy the process, and we will all enjoy getting to know you! Have you picked a topic yet???

I hate cleaning too! I wonder if there is anyone out there that actually enjoys it...
Laundry is my absolute most hated chore. It's not the washing and drying, or even folding, it's the cramming it back in the drawers. Especially in the RV. We have itty bitty drawers. A million of 'em, but they each only hold like 4 shirts.
Anyways, this is only my second CJ, so most of us are kinda new at this, too! Can't wait to see what you pick. I haven't even started mine yet and we've only got 2 weeks left to get 'em in the mail! Yikes.
